bad earth, maybe as simple as the over boost sensor if still connected cutting it out...

Just an idea but what boost are you running, as in third you may be achieving more boost with the torque. Only reason i say what boost you running is you may still have your over boost switch connected on the hose between turbo and intercooler. This cuts ignition if you over boost. Just an idea but seen it happen.

I belive its running 10psi but I have only owned the car a few weeks and not had a chance to look over it. so what would the solution be?

Where abouts on your gauge does it go to full boost?

10 psi which is why i have come to this conclusion but alot of the other dials seems to fluctuate as someone replaced the dash and didnt do a very good job of it :dearme:

its a mechanical gauge not electronic like the rest of the dials. im not sure what pressure the overboost cuts in, i should imagine its somewhere close to 10 tho. I think there is probably something in the articles section about the overboost sensor. its a good idea to read through the articles anyway. :D good luck.
