Does anyone know how much it costs to replace windscreen in a 5? Had a chip repaired years ago and it has gone again :crap: Dont even know if people still stock them.??

depends where you go if you go thru a big company like autoglass you will pay £££silly money:mad: but search thru the local yellow pages find a small company cost will be much less i got mine done a while ago and cost £60 :agree:

Think i paid £80 fitted at ND 09... was a member on here... most people pay between £75-150 for them fitted... deals can be done... mates rates etc..

They usually cost me £60 through a mate of mine, glass is only £39 to the fitters.

Fitted prices so far:

Autoglass: From £333 down to £270.82 if i buy today :eek:

Smilewindscreens: Inner+outer mouldings £10+vat and green tint screen £95+vat

Not sure about the green tint but price is a bit better, should have a couple more quotes in by Monday.

The green tint is the original gtt screen. The clear one is for the non turbo models Have you got a price from Renault? A few years back they were one of the cheapest places for the screen itself. Although I'm sure Mike could get you one cheaper than Renault's price :)

Hi Gt Turbo Spares will be offering a New Window screen fitting service as well as window tinting. We plan to start this next month, looks like we can beat most people's prices out there.
