just a quick one. im going on bluntys rolling road day at wgt in march. would like to know what power my car will do with this engine spec.? 1398cc t28t3 roller bearing turbo with external wastegate and screamer pipe. ligthen and re-worked crank. baffled sump. up-rated steel piston and liners. rs500 frontmount intercooler. automedics race spec carb fueling set for 22psi. automedic uprated head with re- angle valve seats.piper 285 cam. group a head gasket with up-rated headbolts. aem water injection kit. up- rated k-tec 2 and a half inc down pipe. running to a custom straight through side exit exhaust. also demon motorsports 9raw oil cooler.

ps im just starting to bed this engine in and is running only 12psi. so i maybe running that on the rollers. any idears on power at 12psi and 22psi.cheers madfive. :)

i hope you achieve the figure you are looking for mate but I wouldn't go mad on the rollers if your still running it in unless the rings were built to a tolerance fit good luck mate :agree:

Dont take this the wrong way but why do people still pay tuners **** loads of cash? The knowledge of gtts on this forum is second to none.

For max power rev it hard from the off. For longevity slowly from the off. I've never understood this 'running in' talk on a crude 1950's engine?

This will all depend on how well the engine and carb is set up, if its done well i'd say 220ish, if done poorly can be a hell of alot lower.
automedics race spec carb fueling set for 22psi this is the bit i would query over but will see on the day

I'll be at the rolling road too so will be good to watch all the cars.

My daily...see profile has a similar spec with a few more trick bits thrown in and it has dyno print outs from the day ben {boris} started puttin it on the rollers..they go up to its present state and it made 216bhp so im guessing it will be similar in power.
All the rr tests were done over the years at the same rollin road.

Hi Grant, do you not fancy building and maintaining your 5 from now on? There's a lot of satisfaction from achieving things yourself. If you've been helping Justin out you must of learnt a fair bit by now.:)
