Try WD40.

Soak a cloth/rag/wig...wipe it over the gluey shizzle, leave it for a few mins and then agitate it.

It'll help if you keeps lubing the glue up as well.

When you're done, wash the panel thoroughly with some car wash etc

tried all products over the years.. £5 from halfords.. autoglym internsive tar remover is the best product ive found, and now i swear by it.

I use either Acetone or Wax and Grease remover...both from panel beater supply shops.

I've found pre-paint is good for getting stubborn crap off paintwork

3m general purpose adhesive cleaner or GPAC, or tardis should take it right off. Did wonders on my 5.
