Mat
well i would speak to adam.....
i had a T28 and although it pulled like a train it didnt start boosting until 4k (ish) found it a pain to drive, a T25 is a more balanced turbo for day to day driving and the capability of turning it up as and when needed
But thats just my opinion :cooter:
as where talking turbos.. could someone tell me what size housings etc the following turbos would have in general?
std t2 - comp side?? exh side??
t2/t25 - ?? ??
full t25 - ?? ??
t25/t28 - ?? ??
full t28 - ?? ??
is there such a thing as a t2/t28:scared:
Drive mine if you want mate when its back on the road in April. Mine spools up well before 4k but is a T28
it all depends on what size comp an exhaust wheels u got in it my t28 boosts up lower then 4 but its got a small exhaust housing
Unless they've changed the specs over the years, the TT stage 2 won't make much more than 180bhp, it's an ok unit but you can get better for the money IMO.

Sounds good to me but do you trust me  plus i dout ill have got one by then, turbos confuse me . Well as long as I have one fitted before pod ill be happy so theres abit more compitition but if I go T28 my big jim wont fit.

Speak to suppliers about the right specs etc. you'll get a comprehensive knowledge based reply, no second guessing there. The problem with this discussion on here is that there are too many variables and such a vast opportunity to misinform. Not only that, I would suspect that a lot of people don't actually know what there turbo consists of in respect to T25 this and T28 that. I know I bought a T28 off JP Racing some time ago but thats as far as that goes, best guess is that it's a small T28 whatever that means. I've had T25 Hybrids and I know that they ran out of puff too early, I know what a stock T2 is. It may be better if people refered to turbo's by there front / back sizesie a T2/T28 etc then this might give a more accurate picture.
