Hi there,

I have been a member of RTOC for a while although no very active :ashamed:

I am planning to come to the ND and am looking forward to meeting some other members. Hopefully I'llbe there in the GTA (I am also hoping to do the Prescott Hill Climb the weekend before so hopefully it will still be in 1 piece and on the road...)

it looks like there has been a lot of discussions about who members want at the ND... I wanted to ask if i can bring some non-Renault owners friends along? if not no bother. i'llstillbe there :)

also wanted to ask if a French driving licence is acceptable

Unsure but he has organised the entirity of ND and Pod whilst he's been offline. I understand he's had family problems and has also moved house with Emma.

He doesn't necessarily need to be online though, any of us can answer your questions :)

Mogster - Details about non-members are on the link in my first post and Im 99% sure we've had French drivers on track before (let me just check that for you though before I commit lol)

Ah I didn't think you were anyway lol. Just letting you know although he's not been online, he's been a busy boy still doing club stuff. We're hoping he's able to get online soon too but we've been chatting to him behind the scenes and he really has had a big plate full of personal stuff going on lately :(

I might be tempted to doing this one myself, how many track tickets do you sell for this? I gather it's open pitlane (?) so I was wondering if there tended to be a lot of queues to get on track?

D4WNO
16-02-2011, 09:55
Tickets depend but you can see how many are available in the club shop.

It is open pitlane and in the few years we've been there, I haven't noticed any queuing at all, it seems to flow very well indeed :agree:

Agreed... even though its Open Pitlane I've never waited once to get out on track in the two years ive been there. Sometimes it gets a bit clogged up coming upto the hairpin and its like a queue, but its just a matter of backing off for half a lap and then you've got a good clear space again!

There is... but never been tested... although people with stupdily loud screamer pipes have been told to tone it down ;)

Ok, so you think just a side exit should be ok.

Think I may be going to Brands before so will have it tested there before.

D4WNO

Yes, loads of members have side exits

Do i just need to buy the "entry ticket" in the club shop
i don't intend on going out on track but would like to park with everyone else and possibly get in the show and shine section?

Steve H
02-05-2011, 09:07
Yep, the £10 entry ticket should do it I think.

I don't know where they do all the show and shine etc as the paddock is cut off whenever the track is running, for sure anyone arriving after about 8.50 could have to wait a while before being able to bring a car into the paddock.

D4WNO
02-05-2011, 09:08
Yup, entry is all you need unless you'd like to camp also :)

Are the indemnity forms available to download before the day?

Tony Walker
31-05-2011, 23:20
Are there helmets available at mallory to be rented? or do you have to provide one of your own?

Steve H
01-06-2011, 06:56
Mallory don't have them available so you will need to bring/blag one.
