Does anyone know of a very low trolley jack. I am borrowing one of a friend to change the wheels on my 5 (lowered 35mm which isn't much at all) and come to find his trolley jack apart from looking a bit f**ked is way too high... thinking its time to bite the bullet and buy a decent one - anyone know of a decent very low trolley jack?

Its all about sliding the jack between the wheel and side skirts.... no need to a expensice jack... unless your car is silly low...

Just drive it onto a block of wood or something?

If the cills/jacking points are in mint condition you could use the original suicide jack to get it high enough to slip the new jack under.

Try not to jack on the sills, you'll just speed up the rotting process, stick it on planks, or turn full lock and slide it under the subframe at the front of the turned out wheel.
