The GTT Lives......

After 3 1/2 years off the road the GTT finally came home today with an MOT to boot! :agree:

I wanted to take a couple minutes to say thank you to a few people that have helped me bring the old boy back to life and have shown the true spirit that lies behind these cars and the people who drive/love them!

Firstly, A BIG thanks to Mike (Phase i 16v turbo)..You've been fantastic mate with all the help sourcing and sending the requested parts!! You are a true asset to this club. :niceone: :)

Secondly, Big Steve, Nick -Tarmac trasher, Kris M, Justin, Brigsy...The work you guys did when you came up for my birthday will never be forgotten..So much so you have your own table at the wedding!!! You have been superb gents and what I class as great mates..many thanks...:niceone:

Thirdly, Tony Walker & his Dad Andy @ Motech for the last week they have had the car doing the welding and brakes and then getting it through the MOT on Saturday...Many many thanks gents....I will be bringing the Clio to you in the future. Your work is second to none...I would recommend you to anyone!:niceone:

Lastly to my lovely wife to be for being patient and supportive with getting the GTT back on the road..We plan to enjoy the car together for years to come...

I've been a bit scared to get back into my 5 since buying the Evo, just because I know I'll fall in love all over again (and I've quite enjoyed having clean hands :laugh:).

It was an emotional week we had a great time working on her(nice to take your time and not be in a rush) Ill get your pictures up on here soon, hope its driving well for you.

Im afraid not fella..Although I do remember that!! :D.....I had an old Cobra seat in and needed some standards so you came to the rescue..I managed to get hold of some nice Phase 1 interior so thats all in now...:agree:

Finally got the old girl taxed this morning after insuring her last week with Footman James (how good are they by the way) and MOT'd by Tony Walker!

Decided to go out in her so put £40.00 in the tank and have just boosted my way through 30 miles of GT Turbo fun...:D

Its great to be back in the old girl...:cool:
