thats a Turbo 1.....well worth saving. it wouldn't matter what per hour he charged. - its would be small change to the overall cost of the car.

You dont arc weld thin gauge material like car bodys, etc...Arcs more for heavy duty plant stuff, Gates, etc etc:)

A Renault with that sort of rot needs all the strength it can get :D

Icant my self but it is poss to arc weld thin materials, looks a lot neater and is stronger, not that it needs to be. Tig sounds fun:D

Mind blowing really. I don't understand how they know how to form the metal for areas under the car (around chassis, strut, subframe areas), that were a complex shape and that have totally rotten away.

I wonder what the cost of the refurb was in total.

The wheels absolutely ruin the look of the car though. After all that work! Get em changed.

They are also doing a job on a GTT. It's a Pearl White Ph1. What a complete mess it was when it went in!

look for restoration shops rather than bodyshop, big diffrence, and a big diffrence in price also.

What, their current car, the one they haven't finished yet? That's impossible to answer.
