ok im talking about the L shaped rod that runs from the acc pump to the throttle splindle.

the bush that is on the smaller bent side of the L shaped rod is the one i need to replace, its usually a case of push fitting this L rod into the bush that is housed on the throttle spindle side but mine has basically gone to mush.

is there a replacement bush available? if not can someone advise how i can sort this so the L rod doesnt keep on popping off..?

I used plastic padding around that plastic bush in the photo.

That's the grey stuff you can see there.

I personally don't know of a new bush for that.

also known as "chemical Metal".

I think actually Plastic Padding are the manufacturer of Chemical Metal and other similar 'glues'.

Or maybe it's Loctite. Or Henkel.

Who's owns who? Probably another company own both of them.

It's a two pack epoxy type of thing.

It's very sticky so care is needed to not stick the metal rod into the bush.

I carefully built up the Chemical Metal around both sides.

Speed is also needed as it stops being workable just a couple of minutes.
