Not everyones cup of tea but this is my new toy. It's a Toyota Corolla TTE Compressor, 1 of only 250 made. Supercharged and a lot of fun! 19k on the clock and full history etc. Opinions even bad ones welcome!:)

I guess that's what I saw in the carpark at work this morning, or are there other supercharged toyotas about?

They do a n/a Corolla T-Sport which look almost the same but without the TTE body kit. The N/a T sport is about 190bhp while the compressor is 215bhp:)

I think that this is the only supercharged Toyota, well im not aware of any others that is to say.

My friend has one, good fun. There is an easy mod to gain 15 bhp.

Which supercharger do they fit to them? is it the same as the Eaton model they fit to the Mini Cooper S?

I will be honest. I have no idea what supercharger it is! I will have to find out. I do know that it is the same engine etc as the Lotus.

I am going to keep it standard but out of curiosity, what is the easy mod for 15bhp?

Also I have an A4 piece of paper with number 53 written on it in perminant marker pen. The Toyota sign is in biro, I will upload once I get a scanner:wasntme:

The MR2 MKI had a Jap variant that was supercharged. Yes I'm a loser.

nice motor i do like these. How much did you pay for it? Also are the 190 models turbo then? And is there anything else badge wise that would help you spot the supercharged ones from the t models?

Trev I will take some interior pics today and post them.

The T-sport is N/A with a VVTL-i engine. The lift comes in at about 6500 revs, its sort of like a powerband. The compressor has the same engine but you do not notice the lift that much due to the supercharger.

The Compressor has TTE Compressor badged on the back while the T-Sport just has T-Sport so that the only difference badge wise. The Compressor has the TTE bodykit while the T-Sport has a bodykit, it is different. The compressor has a twin exhaust, the T-sport a single.


I paid 7.5k for this one. It only has 19k on the clock and is backed up with a full Toyota service history. Others go for around this price but they have about 40k on the clock. (If you can find one that is!) I also have a warranty that covers the exhaust and supercharger amongst the usual things. If you go to Toyota the supercharger is 4k to buy and the exhaust system is 3k!! :eek:
