helmets first track day

just back from my first trackday in the 5:):):)
its only taken 5 years to do it but hell it was fun
ive not been on track since2005 and that was on the bike so felt a bit rusty

it did however highlight 2 problems

the rear axle seems either to light or just no grip
then to complicate things the adjuster screwed straight out of my new spax shocks
and lost all the oil
strangley enought the car handled better with only one shock working:confused:

also the brakes felt inadequet lots of travel in the pedal im going to try and bleed them later if the nipples are free

question is to all you trackday regulars what set up do yous use suspension/brake wise as id like to sort it out for mallory

I use Koni shocks with Apex/KTR -50mm springs.

My brakes as brand new callipers/master cylinder/fluid all round (new copper lines on the front) with KTR 285mm disks and Ferodo DS2500 pads on the front. The rears are standard. :)
