Is an alloy turbo heat shield any good?

Hi guys,

I have no turbo heat shield in my GTT and I am considering my options.
The standard kevlar heatshield is a little bit too much $$$ for me right now,
so i wonder if an cheaper option could be any good

Any disadvantages compared to a standard heatshield?

Quite good, better than nothing, or completely useless?

If you want to do it well you should find yourself an insulation kit, demon tweeks sell them as do merlin motorsport.
