Has anyone any idea where the old files are for the above Gt tuning 5 - used to be a load of them a few year back...it's the silver one btw!

All of the old files were lost when the old website exploded, a few years ago :(

I know the one you mean, different car though. It was Jamie shaws car iirc, she found something special in the glove box, blonde bird by the name of Sandy. Would not mind smashing the back wheels off it.

That's the one a friend of mine owned it for years and had nothing but trouble - sounded and looked amazing when he first got it about 8 years ago or so...

I can't seem to find anything now the sites changed - thanks for the pics mate ;-)

Amazing if you ask me - shame it went to waste tho!

Now looking for a new 5 - something clean with extremely good bodywork ready for a project....easier said than done id imagine. Its been over 3 years maybe 4 since i have kept up to date!

Can you even buy the old gt tuning kit? p

Silver 5 is Danny Fennel's old car of DD Autosports fame. Was one of Roland's (Owner of Gt Tuning) best customers back in the day....

Last I heard is Rollie moved on to Audi TT/Mini tuning! GtTuning's website is still open but no longer trading. I'm fortunate to have the original GtTuning catalogue detailing all their show cars :)

armtech rev limiter offers launch control.
true traction control need wheel speed sensors, which rolly never fitted. - im sure a rev limiter offered 'traction control' too back in the day.

Only a few people experimented with launch control/traction control....Danny was one of them. I believe he had Racelogic system. www.racelogic.co.uk
