Because I velive the one in the store book doesn't fit. Oh and while I'm here does anyone have an answer to this throwing belts carryon. Bearing look fine and also has the metal peg thing.

Hi Alan, I can't help with the Halfords parts number but do have OE ones in stock. As for stopping the belt jumping off have a look at the link I have had the bracker re-made.

Does anyone know what the problem I'm having is? All bearings are fine, pullies lined up, no worn bushes, correct tension on the belt, and I have the metal retaining stud supposedly to stop this happening:confused: happened 2 twice in the last 2 weeks now

Something is out of alignment or moving out of alignment when driving, can only be 1 of the 3 pulleys

Once it throws the belt I have found that it will keep on doing it untill replaced with a new one, it could be as simple as the bottom pully not being seated correctly, even the belt tension could cause it.

if you have one of the stud things that bolt into the block and it's still trowing them then theres definatly an issue somewhere:crap:
