Just bought a set of black OZ Ultraleggras in 16" matt black from http://www.alloywheels.com/ (http://www.alloywheels.com/) Wheels arrived but one was scraped from behind and badly gouged. I sent the Wheel back last Tuesday by collection (bare in mind the guy on the phone did not mention anything about packaging and I thought the delivery guy would refuse if not adequately packaged). Phoned up on Friday to see what was happening, apparently they would be looking at the wheel on Monday when the manager was in, I expressed my disgust in this as they had had the wheel since Tuesday/Wednesday and the wheel should have been inspected in that time. I phoned up yesterday to see what was happening – still not inspected. I have phoned up today and spoke to the sales manager who says him and the manager are not impressed that the wheel was not packaged correctly and will not be sending out a new wheel. I did mention that after spending £1k for a set of alloy wheels and tyres I would not be settling for a refurbished wheel. The sales manager gave me a load of grief saying that the wheel was now more damaged than before and he can not believe that there was any damage to the wheel even though I took photographic evidence of this. I have now spoken to the credit card company and frozen the payment. In short I would not recommend doing business with this company or its other name Rochford Tyres. It is also funny that none of the managers are available to talk to…

Terrible service. Claim the money back. They are a huge compony and do alot of business on eBay too under Rochford Tyres. I wont be using them now for my new wheels

Did you wrap the wheel to send it back ? Was it their courier that collected it ?
Distance selling regs apply but you must inform them within 7 days of any complaint etc .

Sorry to hear it. But they all are a bunch of cowboys down there scratched all 4 of my mates freshly powder coated wheels changing tyres and again we asked to speak to the manager and there wasn't really one, just a lot of passing the buck between each other. :jerkoff: keep on at them though and you should get somewhere.

I was advised that they would collect the wheel, I was not advised to package it at all. I've caved in and go tthem to refurb the wheel for free. Will not be dealing with them again :(
