After a bit of thinking and planning Ive decided to build a rear wheel drive 5....:eek:

Heres some photos of the shell irl be converting.

Ive stripped the car to a bare shell and is now ready to take some work at the rear. :D

There are some rust areas and the sills will need some work done to them.

Going to fit the rear subframe first thoe before any body work is carried out.

Hopefully all going well irl be taking her to USC this year...

What engine you going to use Tom? or sticking with a C1J

Still to be decided..like to stick with C1J but im thinking maybe either Clio 172 Turbo or something non renault. One of my mates owns a Ford speacialist tuning garage and has zetec turbo & cosworth lumps available.

Yea sure, you can check out the new workshop to, plenty of tea available aswell. :D

There was one i saw built about 15years ago in revs, that was built by dave at djm motorport http://www.djm-motorsport.co.uk/Project_Cars.html

I went up to his place a couple of years ago to talk about a similar project :devil: his attention to detail is exceptional ;)
