well just want your thoughts on my plans for next year im thinking of fitting a 1300cc hiyabusia turbo bike engine in my 5 turbo with custome gearbox. does anyone know of anyone thats done one before. :)

you better fit a dry sump to that engine, the oil pick up isnt great in car applications....

Pity to do that to a 5 imo... have seen it done in a Smart Car - there is a vid on youtube :)

Dont know what power but ive seen some pushing 230 bhp that in a five would be great fun and they rev out to 16000 plus. i bet 0 to 60 would be 4sec. :agree:

dont do it to your r5 dude, its a damn tidy car, and just seems a shame to hack away at it to fit a engine in thats not really going to be all that road friendly..

well its a no go as the wife has spoken and put her foot down. plus were trying to move house at the moment. so the 5 stays.:agree:
