Hey all,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I was looking for information on a R5 GT Turbo Phase II that I used to own.

Reg plate was G948 *** (I have the full registration, but thought best not post on the internet).

I owned the car from Feb 1998 - July 2001 and purchased from a private seller in Boston, Lincolnshire. I then sold the car to a buyer in Louth, Lincolnshire.

If anyone has any information about the car I would really appreciate it (if the buyer from Louth is reading this and the turbo blew within a few days, then I am really sorry)!

If I am best posting this somewhere else on the site, then can any members or readers let me know.

Many thanks - appreciate any help.

Its funny, people dont post the vehicle reg online....

when your driving everybody see's it, and thats in its local area no doubt.

Also if its ever in pics online.. unless you remember its in that too.. errr

It is to prevent vehicle cloning (something I was victim to some years ago).

Tungsten grey Renault 5 GTT's are a fairly rare site on the roads these days, so if you wanted a correct registration for one it would easier to look on the internet than trawl the streets!

Also, you would have to be a complete moron to clone a vehicle in your local area due to the possibility of it being detected by the cloned vehicle owner.
