View Full Version : AFR meter + fitting
Hi
i am thinking about buying an AFR meter for my GTT, because there is NO ONE in my region with an external AFR to check my air/fuel ratio.
From what hear, correct AFR is crucial for GTT engine.
I am planning to buy this:

Is it something you would use for an GTT?
The second question - is it hard to fit? Anyone got a picture where exactly on the exhaust should it be fitted?

can say great bit of kit. got one last year from scoff never had any problems and it has saved my engine when i got a blocked jet in the carb
Only picture i've got, but thought it may help?
This seems to be the overall position that people mount the sensor - although the manufacturer states to mount it further away from the turbo! - But as of yet i've not heard of any failing............

Adam, that looks great! I was thinking about some ugly temporary solution, but after seeing this... :)
You really make them? Can this be made for the left pillar / right hand drive car?
