Dumb question...

I've just purchased a replacement rubber seal for the square plastic fitting that attaches the open/close mechanism to the glass on the rear quarter windows.

I'm just wondering if anyone can shed any light on how to change this easily? I've had a look and i guess i'm going to have to remove the entire window? Or can you pop it off from the inside or is there a screw to rmove etc? I cant actually see in without taking the window off!

Where the rubber is, on the inside of the car you will have a slide clip holding it in place. slide this out and they will pull apart

cheers, I will have another look when i get home later, I'm hoping this will sort my leaking rear window. The original rubber seal has seen better days.

probably leaking due to 'popping open' when you shut a door...

I had the same problem on mine but the new seals sorted me out, as Bigfoot said there is a platic style clip that pulls in and out so piece of cake although the one closer to the boot is a little more fiddly.
