Hi all
Just seen an r5 with a set of porsche teledials which i think look really cool and would like a set for my 5. Only problem is im not really sure what adapters i need to use to be able to fit them. I've had a look at the h&r adapters which convert the bore size to 57.1mm but i dont know if they will be ok. could anyone help me with this before i buy the wrong 1s lol. thanks very much. Luke

Jimmy B done it on here, look it the projects and restoration section and you'll see.
I think he got the hub adaptors for a VW and had them machined to fit.

cheers guys appreciate the help :) i didn't realise it was jimmy b's r5 selling on pistonheads might pm him see if he would sell the wheels and adapters seperate

this can be done with the help of an engineer. i used 30mm adaptors up front and 35mm adaptors at the rear. there 4x100-5x130 with a 57.1mm centre bore.
first up you need to have the centres enlarged to 60.1mm to fit over the centre of the r5 hub, then u need to have the edges of the spacers chamfered to clear the rear calipers and pads. also on the front you might need to chamfer the edges again if you intend to run std front brakes. i didnt need to do this though as i am running 285mm 21turbo discs.
