Well I purchased my own pad last year (fell in the love with the garage) It has an inspection pit which does make some jobs a lot easier than they would have been before.

Only trouble is its constantly filling up with water which isnt a major issue as i have a pump to empty it but i'd prefer to jump straight in and keep dry feet without having to pump it out first.

Anyone know of any solutions or companys that could help me out on the cheap? It has a concrete base and breeze block walls, the water seems to make its way through the breeze blocks. :(

Snap! the pit in the garage at my folks place does that! lol the times i have got a dustpan and bucket to get all the water out, or in a hurry put on wellies. Im no builder, maybe it needs a liner covering all walls and floor, then skimmed over with concrete again?!

Yeah i think a few inspections pits will have this problem, I was hoping there would be some kind of magic coating i could either spray or paint on that would be water tight yet withstand me leaning on it and walking around on it.

I have seen some fibreglass shells you drop in but these will cost some serious wedge to have put in :disagree:

line it with a fibre glass matting.. simular to p40 but on a bigger scale, My father-in-law used it for his carp pool.
