Looking to buy a C1J to completly strip and rebuild. How much do they tend to go for these days?

You will see engines go on ebay complete for up to £200 lately, sold one without a carb for £150 and that hadn't been running for quite a few years but still turned over.

im sure even with a donor engine if you wanted to do a rebuild with all new bits an tits an have crank re-ground,head skimmed,rings etc your be looking at near a grand..
