has any one got a lightend and ballanced flywheel ots your thoughts?

yeah mate, I had a lightened flywheel made even lighter by markeymark this year, not sure on weight of OE one but If I remember right the one I recieved weighed around 5kg. I was really happy with it, I noiticed the engine will rev a little easier - great investment i reckon. But since i've had it fitted i have prob only managed about 150 miles as car is in pieces again:sad:

haha nah dude, the engine is solid now....(i hope). gettin the 5 ready for MOT and adding a few pieces while im at it. I put it off the road just after rebuild at the end of Nov for winter....

I once herd that turbo cars benfit form a heavier flywheel ie leave it standard.. But then I have no edvidence if this is true lol :D

about the best you can get try getting one 2nd hand rare unless you are going to pay ctm"s prices

I found their prices pretty reasonable considering their work :agree:
