View Full Version : Anyone got any info on this 5 ive just bought?

Just looking for some history and background on the wee GTT ive just bought. Ive known the car for a few years to see it locally but i wanted to see if any RTOC members know any more about the car or who may have had it?

Car is a red 5, Registration F608 VEG - its been in scotland for the last 3 or 4 years that i know of.

Just looking in for as much history as possible as i'll be starting to restore this car very soon

holy ****!! i cut and shut that about 6 years ago!! the front end is actually a citroen ax.. :p

lol.. looks nice dude.. them wheels are gettng awfully rare now. woth some dooblar believe.. good luck with the restore.

Oz Polaris - Awesome wheels on the 5, and worth a fortune now!

It just so happens that I have one of the last sets made, with no car to put them on ;) :D

The car doesn't look too bad. What's the plan?

LOL citroen ax wings tell it off do they Jamie, ive been busted for using half my old supply of GT parts! :laugh:

i didnt think the wheels were worth that much, someone said they are only worth about £50 the other day! im glad i didnt turn round and tell them to come get them minus the tyres!:eek:

yes its an H plate (HEC is the end of it, cant remember the numbers)

was originally blue but painted pink, i dont know if its still there or been crushed now as its not sitting there outside anymore. may still be alive but i doubt it.

And the 11 turbo is a B-reg immaculate condition, its been sat off the road now for 2 years like that, interior is mint and boxes upon boxes of brand new parts are labelled up in individual packets etc. shame to see it just sat there :(
