Knocking - Top Strut Mounts?

Hi there,

After 12 years ownership, i am getting a knockng noise when going over small bumps in the road. It sounds like the top strut mounts have gone but cannot be sure.

It passed the MOT, so it cannot be that bad but was wondering how much typically it was cost me at a garage to replace both mounts?

I got two tops with the bearings and i think they were £30 for genuine renault parts

30 min diy job mate dead easy :)

Easy job if you have spring compression tool,if you dont or dont want to tackle just take the top two strut bolts off and the lower two off and take to garage this will reduce labour costs:agree:
