i have a campus 1.4 (c3j) that wont start and iv tried everything i can think of so wondered if anyone else has ever had this??

it was running fine but went out to it and it wont fire??
turns over ok
so iv fitted new dizzy arm and cap because there were mouldy!
still nothing

iv tried a new set of plugs, new battery, new leads and new tdc sensor.
no difference.

iv got compression, a good spark, new fuel from the single point injector the butterfly is working too.

any ideas

..... Erm, I have an idea.....
If it's a three door without a sunroof, no rust and in good condition....
Give it to me so I can reshell an old race car?:D

iv just noticed that the new dizzy cap seems to b slightly shallower than the old one and the spring loaded carbon button that bears upon the rotor arm seems to be chewing itself up
i am still getting a spark at the plug but could this be causing the car not to start??
