Which oil to use?

Im gonna put on a re-con turbo after Christmas (once i open my new toolkit tomorrow morning :)) and want to get opinions on what oil is best to use?

It seems quite a few threads mention Halfords 15-40

I wont be running silly boost and i dont aim to use the GT Turbo on a daily basis...

Any feedback would be appriciated :agree:

i use 10 40 in mine

on a fresh good spec engine a fully synthetic 10/60 anything else = millers 10/40 all day.:)

Any decent semi synthetic oil will be fine. I tend to use Halfords 10W/40 in mine and change it on a regular basis :)

i run elf 15w40 td oil from renault in mine. its what they used to use in them but ive bought out our dealer now :(
