Highest boost on an unmodified 5

I am wondering, what boost can I run with an standard unmodified engine?
What is the safe psi as shown on the standard turbo gauge?

14 psi at the carb to would be the very most you could run:)

well been running 21 psi at inlet manifold for 3 yrs, with standard internals. Those little ends now noisey, but time for a fresh engine.

safe boost is standard boost :D,Check out my other thread on here titled pop goes the engine for results on too much boost lol.

Ive only ever ran this when buying a car till I get home and play,do mean standard internals or completely standard as in carb jets,standard intercooler etc?

Ive ran a bar carb top on strapped and flowed intercooler and standard jets which was ok for about a month till you get bored and then start wanting more.Boost is like heroin for junkies you always want more:laugh:
