I'd go for the Ronal's myself given their a bit rarer. Always thought they would look good taken from their current polished finish to a darker colour.
Either way you cant go wrong, both look good on the 5 as long as the suspension is sat right.
I'd have expected the Ronals to be more expensive though?
Iv seen ronals go for about 300, I think they would look good if the writing was colour coded
What are they 15x7 or 6.5?
I like both, the Ronals would be a good choice as its not been done that much.
Mine on turbines, but running 165/50/15s

Thanks mate. No mines never been for sale on Pistonheads, I think I know the one your on about though, I think it used to belong to a fella on here!
Yours is looking mint too, my mission is to put mine back to a more standard look using original stickers etc! Has yours been painted?

Yeh it had smoothed bump strips and a similar looking front end with the big cooler, il dig the pic out later, I think the 1.2s look well. Yes it had a full respray a few year ago mate, i plan on getting a few little things painting again to perfect it. I prefer the stickers on 5s :)

Yeah see if you can find the pic, would be interesting to see what it looks like :agree:
i think vw is 57.9 or somthing and renault 60.1 (around there) so no spigots, instead worse, they would have to have the bores milled out to fit the gtt.
Thats if they are genuine vw fitment

there not a direct golf fitment size, and will fit straight on the gtt hubs:)
as per other thread :) look real nice, but a pain to keep clean/mint as the laquer seems to oxidise badly around the polished lip :crap:
could always try these http://www.tuning.online.pt/noticias-tuning/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/ronal-r50-aero.jpg;)
or these would look cool also http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k167/thibautv/DSC03795.jpg
might need to adapt the hubs/stub axels though
Them zender rims look lush!
The first edition of the ronal turbos were the best, big money these days though.
