nostalgia i think, old cup car brace, light as fook, lets you remove the carb while fitted.. then again the one on my 5 is light and lets you remove the carb while still fitted..

i know a few peoples devil braces have hit the bonnet so its not all gravy:)

yeah they do foul the underside of the bonnet on the standard setup. Nothing that 5 mins with a ball hammer wont sort, true PMT style ;):D

:laugh:...:agree:, blimmin eck , i didnt realise it would cause such a stir....:laugh:, personally i feel the devil brace is a quality, light, six point fixing , as has been said ..a piece of history{if your sad like me..;)},stylish and ive never had one ive had to bash a bonnet about for, brace!!!!, but like i said and many others , it was just a heads up as i knew some folks on here were looking for one...:)...:laugh:

Yeh devil now make motor bike exhausts etc, the devil company that used to make strut braces/race exhaust went bust and a new company brought the existing make and only offers bike products now... & do not have the designs to the old materials ( I have been in contact)

none of this stuff has any intrinsic value, you can't eat it, you can't wear it, you can't drink it, you can't take shelter in it, the only value is has is that more than 1 person wants it, and that's true of most 'valuable' things.

Take a book for example, how much would you pay for a second hand book? Most get thrown away, but yet you put a room of the correct type of fool together and you're looking at over £7M... that's enough for a strut brace each and a party to celebrate.
