:ashamed: just had a respray on the 5 and i was in the garage yesterday and i thought it would be a good idea to spray somthing black near my car :o:mad:, got loads of black spots on my bonnet and wing now, they chip off but to save my new paint getting scatched will anything else get it off , wax ??
No wax won't touch it as it is not abrasive. Your best bet is a clay bar.

best bet would be to take it back to the body shop and get them to mop it off:)
buy yourself a clay bar kit, that should lift it , failing that the bodyshop will probably use a very light sandpaper and then mop it off. no big issue though dont fear

finaly got around to doing this yeatreday :ashamed: nearly a year later ..
thought i would share incse someone else has same problem.
i tried a maguires clay bar kit took about 5-10 mins per paint spot ,, got bored very fast , had a look in my garage and found some auto glym "intensive tar remover" worked a treat with a bit of rubbing ,, not harmed the paint at all either :)
