well the fuel pump has now decided to stop working:rolleyes: I was driving along normally and lost power then the car cut out. I have run a live from the batt to the pump and it still works so there is nothing wrong with the pump its self. I have also tried swapping the 2 relays in the loom and that made no difference and the fuses havnt blown:scratch: The car now wont start it just keeps turning over and over, the battery died before i tried turning it over with the live feed to the pump so i dont know if that would sort it. so im looking for probs it can be. Im thinking maybe tdc sensor, poss relay still, anyone think of anything else it could be as its doing my head in:mad:

I would say your problem is your earth to the fuel pump relay.

Right Gary, wiring diagram shows the relay is earthed through pin 21 on the ecu.pin 21 should lead to no. 85 on relay. So if this is earthed correctly and 12v is present at 30 and 86, 87 should Provide 12v to 86 on second relay. Second relay is earthed between second relays 85 and 17 on ecu. If this is all correct it should fire injectors and fuel pump. I think this is correct, it's late I'm tired.:wasntme:

Yes one relay triggers the other.

The wire coming from the relay that's supplying 12v to the fuel pump and injectors is grey and red, probably.

thats the one i have taken to the the old gtt relay and bypassed it and connected it to the white wire that goes to the fuel pump. Must be a prob with the relays as i did the wiring so there wont be a problem there will there:scared::wasntme:

if its not the relays then its probably an earth like i mentioned earlier, this is what i mean
haz, puts these things into better english.

. with the ignition turned on one relay should click. the other when crankin. the fuel ecu should earth the second relay. you can manually earth the relay when all connected, if it clicks the either the wire to the ecu is broken or ecu is at fault, like a sensor down like tdc.
