knock coming from os front wheel

hi all,got a knock coming from the os front wheel when on full lock parking up or just when pulling out a junction and go almost full lock,just goes like clonk:scratch:what you guys think this could be:confused:

jack that wheel up and feel for play, if its a twang type noise then it could be topmount bearing seized causing the spring to jump round, easy to check just get someone to turn the steering wheel while you watch the spring.
