wheels rubbing

hi there

have just fitted gaz coilovers on my 5 and now the wheels rub against the front springs:( had coilovers on there before and didnt rub:scratch: have had to put back on standard wheels to stop it rubbing,if i use wheel spacers it will rub on the front arches as car is ultra low.

any suggestions appreciated thanks:)

at a guess mate id say your offset is part of the problem and you may be trying to sit too low, what size are your wheels?? 16"??

if the o.e wheels clear the shock then the problem lies with the off set of the wheels you have or even with side wall of the tyer or both.

I had the same problem with my gaz and the wheels were the correct et35, but they were 7.5 inches wide, i ended up fitting a shorter spring.
