making a gearbox pretty

ok , im going to be building up a fresh engine and box for my r5 , however i want to know what is worth doing on a gearbox whilst its out.

I know on 205 gtis its always worth resealing the diff housing and swapping driveshaft seals.. anything similar on these?

dont have driveshaft seals as such like a pug box,

i always degrease, and paint, usually with spray and laquer :)

I remember cleaning up a gearbox once, but never got round to painting it and wish i had know has the oil on them really does stop them corroding away.:rolleyes: I'd clean them up, grease the case back up when finished looks original then and wipes clean when needed.
