Are you wanting the engine in the rear driving the rear wheels, or engine at front driving the rear wheels via a prop?

It can be done mate, but do you really want to be cutting your car up though.

If it was me i would by cheap shell and then cut that up, sort of start fresh with another car.

Well cost wise firstly if you want to do twin engine then you will need another enigne of exact spec as first one so that will be first big cost.

Doing the shell all depends on how much the person would cost, if i still had my unit i'd of converted shell for £700 with a front end being supplied to weld in the back.

Then you got specing suspension at back same as front, brakes, wiring, fuel tank, fuel pumps, new exhaust system, modifing the gear linkage, etc

aww right see £700 wouldnt be to bad to get the shell done as for the engines + gearboxs i have two here one that i have modded that im building and the other i could do after that as for the exhaust system thats not a problem it would just be the gear linkages and getting the clutchs to work with each other

Just take that price as basis, thats what i would of charge when i use to have a unit. Some people may charge more or less.

2 clutches to hook up. 2 gear linkages. Fuel tank relocation etc etc I could go on all day or keep your eyes peeled and buy the twin engine already built that's in jersey if it comes up soon.

Out of interest - why? Wouldn't it just be like having a 4WD car with more power bias in one direction if you had a more powerful engine at either end?

I was under the impression that some 4WD cars were set up to do this anyway - mainly to the rear, to give it the characteristics of a RWD car?
