Dont fit the gasket, if both faces are flat it wont blow. There wasnt a gasket fitted when new :)

Just tried fitting without gasket was nearly finished when i dropped my light....I happened to notice light shining all the way through the turbo/downpipe join when fully tightened:cry: So back to the gasket hunt does anyone know what car the t25 tomcat comes from? also it it possible to have the turbo faced?

Thanks m8.Do you think seeing daylight through the gap is a problem? Seems a bit much to me am really hoping the gasket will fix it as bit worried ive wasted loads of dollar :(

Any gas leakage from that joint is not good. If the mating faces are gash, then 2 gaskets can sometimes sort it.

I bet the downpipe flange is warped, my big jim one was miles out. Turbo will probably be fine imo get a straight edge on both and see?

I filed the flange flat on my downpipe, or if your feeling posh get it faced.
