ht leads

I am right in thinking all standard spark plugs have the same connection right?:scratch: I bought some ht leads for a random car as it had the king lead i needed but the plug leads dont "click" onto the plugs like the old ones. I dont know if its the leads not being right or just how they are:crap:

to be honest i have no idea the plugs are bosch for the volvo b18ft so renault i guess but have no idea what the leads are for, as i opened all the boxes halfords had and found one with the king lead i want, but looking at the leads they look better than the ones on the car atm so if i can id like to use these instead but they dont seem to click like the ones on the car atm:scratch:
