in the middle of fittin a grill mount intercooler.... any1 know where there best place 2 get the bits of pipework that i will need 4 it???

been lookin on cgb, demon tweeks etc!!! they have a decent amount of hose variations but also need solid boost pipes. may end up cuttin up my standard samco boost hoses 4 the d/v outlet and so on, worst comes 2 the worst :scared:

doesn't sound much like the middle to me.

Make sure you get the solid pipes swaged.

there is a tool, it's pretty expensive, and hard work. The people supplying the pipe should be able to do it.

i doubt ill be able to get it done where i buy the hard pipes from as im sourcing mine from ebay as straights and getting them mandrel bent at an exhaust makers.

ive heard its not really a problem if the pipes arent swaged? as long as you have good quality clamps??

you'll need more than decent clamps to hold them when you make boost. I can imagine that you'd easily see 30psi in the pipes when you close the throttle, with a 63mm dia pipe that's 7.8 sq inches, so 233lb trying to pull the pipes apart.

This looks like a nice tool, and a lot less effort than the one I borrowed http://shop.useful-tools.co.uk/hand-beading-tool-4-p.asp

this is what I used for my water pipes, and some of the boost pipes (although it is too small for that)

that one looks like it'll do the trick. but its abit much to pay for just wanting you pipes swaged.

My pipes aren't swaged & don't pop off, if you can get it done cheap its worth doing though.
