MattJ what you need to do is work out where you want to fit the intercooler and then measure the space of the area you will be fitting it also take into account the ends + any bends that might be required in the pipe run aswell and also the rough piperun route aswell.
Once you know the space size you can use then really look into intercooler options
Mine fits in nicely in the grill area, nice short piperun aswell, my only mod to get to fit was to drill a couple of holes in the slam panel to get it secured: (Standard grill also fits aswell ok a little tight in places only mod to grill is for the air filter air duct had to skim rear of grill for perfect fitment)

if i was in your position i would get that 1 i gave you a link to before. when i fitted mine i did not have to cut anything i just had to make up a couple of brackets which took about half hour
the brackets easy to fabricate?

If your buying the intercooler new they normally come with some brackets, nuts & bolts that you can cut down if required. I got mine from intercooler king of fleabay cost about £85 + delivery.
