Does anyone know of anyone running a FMIC on an F7P conversion, Clio or GTT based,?
Just trying to get my head round if I can get the pipe run with my set up I have now, go CC or have to get a new intercooler with the outlets on the same side.
Ta
Steve

Steve, I think you will have to change intercooler matey as the pipe run will be very long as your turbo will be at the rear, as Gary, say's your going to need one similar to what he has prob grill mounted or where you have it now:agree:

Im running a FMIC on my f7p turbo.
I've gone for a twinpass rather than single.
I know I'll loose a little boost pressure but it's a compromise for ease of piping the thing in

i shall steve when i get the thing plumbed in... im scratching my head myself at the minute !
but it is going to be ALOT simpler than single pass put it that way.
i was going to go down the route of buying the charge cooler kit from angel tuning (what was bb tuning i believe)
but they want 700 quid plus for the entire kit..
sack that

Turbo ted uses my old full-font intercooler with his F7P conversion. It is very tight, I think he has had to make a custom alternator bracket like I did with I had it with the F4R

i run a twin pass intercooler on my clio steve,.. its very tight.. had to take the pipework through into the arch and through there.
i had to remove the auxillery water pump (or relocate)
i know twin pass you loose a tiny bit of boost pressure but it was well worth it to save the headache !
