i plug my vaio into the tv with the hdmi, select the hdmi channel and the laptop crashes and reboots.. it wont load until the hdmi is removed, if left it has a right barney and needs to restore stuff taking more time..

if i have the hdmi channel selected and pop the lead in, it crashes straight away..

how can i get these working together, what do you think might be the problem?

my brother will be home at some point and i'll ask him but it but whenever he's involved my laptop needs formatting, ghosts made of stuff and i lose my laptop for days:sad2:

please help me..:cry: i wanna watch 46" porn:popcorn::p

i found a site going on about changing the drivers for my graffics card, but i dont wanna do that if i'll just be pi55ing in the wind.. there aren't any updates, i'd just need to do it myself, and seeing as i have no clue i'll wait for better ideas:)

That's too easy and I'm sure it'll be blamed on my laptop which they won't be able to do much about. I have the brother on it and talk of formatting is already on the cards.. Yay :(

what was the problem?

graffics driver update and one for the puter.. i checked for them on the laptop and it went off for a look and said they were all up to date.....lies..:sad2:

i then had a butchers on the nvidia and had a search myself and ran another update to which the puter said it was fine.....same goes for my vaio..

brother then spent an hour going over what i did while moaning about my laptop:crap: and managed to find the updates elsewhere.. it was as simple as clicking a button, but you gotta know where that button is.

http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=50030 this site says it happens alot and if he didn't find the correct drivers to update, he'd done it like this.. http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/9243-forceware-updaters-quickstart-guide/

i expect some people love doing all that, but i love plug and play, one click and its done.. my days of DOS on my dads ibm 286 searching files and fecking about are long gone.. :)

Interesting stuff. There's always something. Amazing that things like these can cause the OS to crash. Windows eh. :rolleyes:
