Engine bearings

Just stripping down one of my spare engines, and ive just taken the bearings out which look in great nick, anyways was hoping to find a std or .25 mark on the underside so i could determine what size they were. All that is there is two part numbers, followed underneath by this marking:

- Fm 1 11


the 11 is located on its side.

Anyone got any ideas :scratch:

You could just measure the crank, have you got a mic?

Ive got a vernier but i dont think that will be accurate enough. Any suggestions to a cheap micrometer?

vernier will be accurate enough for 0.25 mm

A dial or digital vernier will be needed but accurate enough to spot a regrind .

Well the vernier was a bit hit and miss but
ended up with :

all big ends 48.02mm ! tolerance is between 48.00 and 48.02 :)

main

Mains were more difficult to measure with multiple different outcomes when using the verniers

all between 54.76mm- 54.83mm tolerance is between 54.785mm - 54.805mm

So overall im pretty happy with the digital verniers, and as Lee said i can easily tell that its a standard crank in very good nick.http://i808.photobucket.com/albums/zz8/Trixnflix/972a6698.jpg
