wondering if anybodys done it? ran the standatd wheels with stretched tyres?

obviously its no good for hard road use, looking into the dub scene for idears, like the go kart style look of small wheels/stretched tyre/on its hoop.

either that or stick some ATS classics on or similar?or if anybodys currently running this look stick some pics up :agree:

ive got some oldskool 13x8 alleycat wheels that have been machined to fit the gtt hub :) only thing is...they need 20mm spacers to clear the calipers.

i trial fitted them and they look friggin brilliant:D will look alot better when i fit some 175/50/13 tyres as opposed to the 195/45/13's that are fitted to them at the mo.

Tell you what mate.. Because I'm nice, rather than send the 1300 pennies for these hoses, just send me those wheels as payment. Honestly.. I'll let you. I'm nice like that you see

Looking forward to seeing the alleycats raj :p

You would be hard pushed to get any stretch on a standard 5 rim... 5.5J is just to skinny.... you would have to use smart car tyres or something lol

I had the tyres from my standard wheels (185/55/13) stretch on to my 8J rims, looked good... that was about it lol

Smart car use 15inch wheels, used to be 165/45/15 from memory.

ATS are very hard to fit, theres alot of work, just to get them on, then you have major clearance issues with the rears, if you run 8s

165/50/15 has stretch on turbines.

trying to get the ilustrious "stance". not sure just stretched tyres on the 'bine's will be enough?unless i pop some spacers on maybe?

Cheap way to get stretch is run bbs E30 rims.

There 7x15 and look real cool with 165/50/15s.

Just need to either turn down your hubs or have the wheel centers bored out.
