Does anyone know much about theys cars?, i was thinking of buying one as a run about while the 5 is off the road, ive seen one im interested in.
just wondering apart from rust issues around the archs which seem very common, is there anything else i should look out for?
cheers :)

Is it cheap mate? 3 cylinder engine, quite nippy. Rot beyond belief! Can be tuned to 200bhp with a few quid thrown at it.

it seams reasonbly priced, however it is an mot failure the girl selling it has a recent fail sheet heres what it failed on:
Off side CV Joint split

Sunstrip - easily removed
all 4 wheel arches require welding
both rear arches have had welding from inside the car but still require welding from the outside
front arches have had some welding done too but still one small hole requiring further welding

And heres the advisouries:

front offside tyer worn close to limit
stiff suspension - due to being lowered
underseal to underbody - to combat rust but hey the garage thought it warrented being an advisory
slight corrsion to floor has been welded from inside - back seats were taken out to do this.
.

there wernt any decent pics so iasked if she could send some thinking the arches would be in right state but they dont actually look that bad here are a couple of pics.

My Dad does work on a racing charade. It is crazy fast.
It races in the LMA champonship (now changed names). I believe its the second fastest charade in the world maybe... according to the owner.
Well over 200bhp from a 1litre engine I think. Very highly tuned.

It is raced by a guy caller Yasser, he used to race a clio 172 too. He should be on the charade forum :)
