R11 turbo

Hi all, does anyone have any information on an R11 turbo on ebay reg E789HDD in green, interested in purchasing if in good shape.

I don't know the car but it must have had a re-spray as they didn't make PH2 R11 turbo's in green...... :)

if its been resprayed and the rust is comin back through near the sunroof that badly then i recon underneath and anywhere that hasn't been painted will be alot worse. if it had recent work done to get it to mot std doesn't mean its done nicely. i'd only bid after a veiwin, esp as the 'tuner built' engine tuned by a company that cant even make std bhp figures doesn't really impress either. there's been alot nicer and cheaper ones about.

In fairness it looks o.k. for a bit of a project but as Haz mentioned quite worrying that it's been 'tidied up for the MOT' If you're thinking of bidding I'd certainly have a look at it first. :)

Thanks for the info lads, spotted same car on piston heads and hes asking £2500, a bit steep and a bit out of my price range unfortunately. I'm looking to downsize from my subaru impreza because commuting in this is killing me of fuel costs and me raider not going to be on the road this side of christmas.
