I've had a go at changing cloths over a few times only piece i wouldn't suggest swapping is the backrest one. Usually best to find a seat with a good backrest and swap base and bolsters to make a good one.
sweet, well ill technically have 4 seats soon, hoping to buy 2 bolstesr and make a good pair out the lot.

The only thing is they are getting rarer and phase 1 seats gold dust. I need a good backrest phase 1 cloth but not yet found.
The lower bolsters/cloth is very easy to change, simple unclip job:)

i built a good set of seats from two pairs.it takes a long time and you will need a lot of good quality little zip ties to replace the metal clips you remove when striping the front seats. but with a little time and effort the results can be good and save you£££££££££££££:):)
A pic of the seat i built in my gt

i had to redo my bolsters.small rip in one sorted with the sewing machine, got a 4in block of foam went to work on it with a electric carving knife. i even re-used the metal clips and i didn't take the seats out :coffee:
