jet wash engine now clutch seized

Well I degreased my engine last weekend and didnt use the car for a week, jumped in to move her on saturday and the clutch will not disengage. The pedal is fine and the clutch is a stiff to press as usual which means the fingers on the pressure plate are being pushed by the release bearing.

Anyone had this problem before or any advice??

Hi mate, yes had this on me mates car a couple of weeks ago. Best get engine upto temperature and idling without choke. Then it down to starting the car in first gear and off for a drive, obviously you need to be able to get on to the road and go for some gear changes. Sounds bad but works because driving it jolts the clutch plate free. Good luck
